Here were the projects from this week: a table with French script and a sign for Thanksgiving. It's still too hot here in Texas to decorate for Fall. I can't bear thinking about going into the attic when it's 90 degrees outside! So, one "Thankful" sign is all I have up at this point.
And now that I've been selling some finds, I'm starting to hone in on where my passion lies...I love to paint typography on furniture! It just seems to have so much more flair, funkiness and adds another bit of dimension to a piece in my {humble} opinion. Here are the before and after of a recent coffee table makeover:
{Sorry about the levitating table picture!}
Until next time...
Julie

ReplyDeleteI am just getting started on doing a coffee table. I have painted it with ASCP, old ocher and distressed it. Now I want to put a word on it. I enlarged the word at Kinko's and got some graphite paper at Michaels. Now I have to get to work on the transfer. Any hints would be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
♥charlotte
